Edgar C. Britschgi
With 25 years experience in international, brand stewardship and multi-cultural management, Edgar C. Britschgi is consulting with major corporations in consumer goods, retail, professional and financial services and NGO on market development, brand and reputation management and change navigation. He is Chairman of Young & Rubicam Brands (Holding) Switzerland and Chairman & CEO of Advico Young Rubicam in Zurich.

Having completed his studies in Switzerland, Germany, France and the US, he started his career in marketing consulting, then switched lanes and became European Marketing Communications Director of a leading textile brand, where he worked in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the U.K.  Four years later he was transferred to the U.S. and named Vice President Marketing  responsible for developing this new market. Back in Europe Edgar C. Britschgi held senior management positions at TBWA, Ogilvy & Mather and was Managing Partner with Saatchi & Saatchi Business Consulting (Switzerland) during the start up phase. In 1992 he joined UBS, the leading banking group in Switzerland,  to create and lead their Group Corporate Marketing department. Back to management consulting he was a Partner with Accenture, the leading management and technology service provider. As a member of the leadership team for Human Performance and Brand Manners in Europe he served clients in consumer goods, retail and financial services.

Melvin C. Zwaig, FCA, CA-CIRP, CFE
Mel Zwaig is the founder of Zwaig Consulting Inc.  He has a 45-year record of providing counsel on financial restructuring and forensic accounting.  He also provides corporate finance; litigation consulting and statutory insolvency services.  Mr. Zwaig has been involved in the financial restructuring of some of the largest files in Canada.

Mr. Zwaig is a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals; a member of the Canadian, Quebec, Ontario and Alberta Institutes of Chartered Accountants; a Founding Member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada; a Founding Member of the International Insolvency Institute; and an Associate International Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Israel.

He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Institute of Arbitration and Mediation.  Mel is an International Director of the Turnaround Management Association and an International Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy.

He has advised Canadian and provincial governments on matters related to insolvency; including the Standing Senate Committee of Banking, Trade and Commerce; Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs (federal), Minister of Health (federal); Canada Mortgage Housing Corporation, Competition Bureau of Canada; Government of Poland; Government of Trinidad and Tobago; CARICOM Governments; Government of Quebec;  and Attorney General, Ontario.  He is an advisor to Equifax Canada on insolvency matters.

Mr. Zwaig has been Executive in Residence, Schulich School of Business, York University.  He is presently Executive in Residence, Centre for Financial Services, Seneca College, Toronto, and is an Advisor to ESL Insights, LLC.

Mel is co-author of The Proposed Bankruptcy Act, 1975 (Bill C-60); and The Proposed Bankruptcy Act, 1978 (Bill S-11).  Both published by Richard de Boo Limited, Canada.  Mel has also authored many articles and presented many papers which have been published during his career.
